Running Just as Fast as I Can

While I usually talk about writing tips, I’d like to spare a blog for a personal reason: fundraising for UHCCF. I’m working to raise $500 to participate on behalf of UHC’s Children’s Foundation in the 2021 runDisney Enchanted 10k. I’ve always wanted to run for a charity, but was afraid of the challenges:

I run slowly, what if they want fast runners?

Will I finish the race?

Can I meet the fundraising requirements?

As of last year, I have my first 10k under my belt and feel confident on two of the above. The third, I could use some help. Yours, to be exact! Key highlights:

UHCCF is a non-profit that provides financial assistance to children & their families when insurance can’t cover necessities like medicine, prosthetics, therapy or anything that improves their quality of life. Every dollar counts! DONATE HERE

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! I’m also offering donation-for-volunteering of my expertise swaps. Most of you know I write, edit, and proofread everything from blogs to resumes to full-length novels (professionally and for fun). Check out my donation suggestions below and DM on twitter/IG/email bfaithbooks@gmail.com with proof of donation / what you’d be interested in. I’d love to help you and my chosen charity at the same time!
